Committed to the Success of Others
At Technology Team, we value the opportunity to give back to the community and we are proud to have a key role within the efforts of "Project NEW Beginnings," a program developed by Fort Worth Business Assistance Center to assist low to no income individuals develop their own business. Project NEW Beginnings, formerly known as “Project ACORN ” (Advancing Confident Owners into Reputable New Business) has changed its name in order to re-establish its mission within the community.
Project NEW Beginnings has changed more than its name; it has enriched its curriculum. The new program structure includes a prerequisite course called “Money Smart,” which features our very own Executive Vice President, Allen Spinner, as a speaker. The four week program establishes the foundation for “wise and mature personal financial decisions” to help entrepreneurs better manage business finances.
As always, the program provides business training, counseling and education, enabling the students to be self-sustaining. Project NEW Beginnings focuses on developing self-empowerment, confidence, passion and providing opportunities for the students.
Teaching and mentoring hopeful new business owners
